The Modern Flames Orion Traditional V2 30" takes the most realistic virtual fireplace series on the market and pushes it significantly further. The OR30-TRAD-V2 isn't just an update — it's a generational leap, combining next-generation LCD display technology, over-the-air software updates, Bluetooth audio streaming, and a highly realistic internally-lit TruWood log set to deliver a fireplace experience that evolves and improves over time.
At 30 inches, the Orion Traditional V2 is the most versatile size in the lineup — large enough to be a true focal point in living rooms, bedrooms, and offices, while fitting comfortably in spaces where wider units won't work. The traditional form factor with its taller viewing area (up to 30" high with a 5" deep ember bed) creates the proportions of a real masonry fireplace, making it the ideal choice for retrofits, mantel surrounds, and classic fireplace installations.
Powered by an upgraded LCD panel, the V2 delivers deeper, more dimensional flames with richer color, sharper contrast, and deeper blacks than the original Orion Traditional. Adaptive brightness technology automatically adjusts the display for a perfectly balanced fire whether it's broad daylight or a dark evening — no manual adjustment needed.
The new Modern Flames+ app unlocks advanced flame customization and enables over-the-air updates, meaning the OR30-TRAD-V2 can receive new flame styles, unique seasonal graphics, and performance improvements long after installation. This is the first electric fireplace designed to get better with time.
Audio has been completely rethought. Custom-engineered premium speakers deliver three immersive crackling sound options that fill a room, and built-in Bluetooth streaming turns the Orion Traditional V2 into a true entertainment centerpiece.
The included log set reaches a new level of authenticity — crafted from the same split wood molds used in Modern Flames' TruWood logs and lit from within, creating natural depth, warm glow, and a truly believable hearth experience that sets the V2 apart from every other electric fireplace on the market.
With four installation options and optional surround trim kits, the OR30-TRAD-V2 adapts to virtually any setting — residential, hospitality, or commercial.
