The Dimplex Ignite XL 74" (XLF74) is our best-selling Dimplex fireplace. At just under 6 feet wide, it's the most popular size in the Ignite XL series — large enough to anchor a media wall below a 75–85" TV, but proportional enough for most living rooms.

What sets the XLF74 apart is flame realism. Dimplex's patented Multi-Fire XD technology produces the most convincing LED flame effect we've seen — customers regularly tell us guests think it's gas. The edge-to-edge glass front and clean-face design put the focus entirely on the flame with virtually no visible frame.

At only 5.8" deep, the XLF74 fully recesses into a 2x6 wall for a flush, built-in look. Have a 2x4 wall? Add the optional trim kit for a clean finished install. Hardwire to 120V for 5,118 BTU or 240V for 8,530 BTU — we recommend 240V if you're doing new construction and want real heat output up to 1,000 sq ft.
